Objective Analyse

What is Truth

Definition: Truth is primarily the accuracy or the absolute reality of facts.

In Context: Truth is a matter of fact, there is evidentiary proof. Truth based on empirical evidence or formal logic is referred to as Objective Truth. As such, Truth is the most important principle when dealing with human interactions. Without Truth, there is no trust. Without trust, there is no relationship.

What is Honesty

Definition: Honesty is Knowledge-based on individual biases, perspectives, interpretations, feelings, imaginings, and/or opinions.

In Context: Honesty is that which we perceive. True for a specific individual; truth based on perspective. The quality of being honest has a wide scope of human virtues such as not lying, stealing, cheating, deceiving others, or being just, fair and sincere. This belief or faith is reffered to as Subjective Truth.

Honesty is a core element to build the trust of someone. If someone feels that you are being honest and sincere with him or her, he or she will ultimately start trusting you and will take you into their confidence. However, someone can still act honest and lie to you as well without the intent to deceive.

What Is A Lies

Definition: Lie (verb) is to make an untrue statement with the intent to deceive.

In Context: These types of “small” or “white” lies tend to be of less importance and of less consequence. Unlike big lies and big lie propanganda

Subjective Analyse

The Big Lie And Big Lie Propaganda

Definition: The Big Lie is a deliberate gross distortion of the truth used especially as a propaganda tactic.

Definition: Big Lie Propaganda are ideas, facts, or allegations spread deliberately to further one's cause or to damage an opposing cause.

In Context: Big Lie Propaganda notable quotes by users:

“A lie told often enough becomes the truth.” ― Vladimir Lenin

“Tell a lie loud enough and long enough and people will believe it.” ― Adolf Hitler

"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State." ― attributed to Joseph Goebbels, German Nazi politician, chief propagandist for the Nazi Party

Propaganda is communication that is primarily used to influence or persuade an audience to further an agenda, which may not be objective and may be selectively presenting facts to encourage a particular synthesis or perception, or using loaded language to produce an emotional rather than a rational response to the information that is being presented.

Personal Thoughts

As a child, it was impressed upon me to never lie, but I did. In court proceedings, participants take an oath “to tell The Truth, The Whole Truth, and nothing but The Truth” and they might. On numerous (too many to count) occasions, we hear the lies, big and small, told to us by political leaders, religious leaders, businesses, the legal system, teachers, family, friends, and others of authority. Why do people lie? BECAUSE IT WORKS by keeping the liar from being held personally responsible in the moment. It seems that almost everyone has or will lie.

Would it not be simplier to just always tell the Truth? It is certainly understandable that the occassional little lie is used to spare someone’s feelings. When it comes to matters of fact, just tell the Truth.
